William Henry Hall was born on 5 September 1907 in Kincardine, Bruce County to Francois James Hall (1874-1940) and Elizabeth Ann Atkinson (1875-1949). William had ten siblings, Francis "Lorne" (Franie) (1898-1971), Tressa Leona (1899-1969), Leona (Lena) (1900-1985) Lila (Twin) (1900-1901), George Walter (1902-1974), Edna Jane (1904-1981), Thelma (1905-1986), John Ollie (1909-1980), Elsie/Elise (1911-1999) and Francis James (Frank) (1915-1945).

William married Edna Marion Stutt on 9 June 1928 in Windsor, Essex, Ontario. William was an upholsterer and Edna was a nurse. Edna was born on 23 June 1908 in Culross to John Andrew Stutt (1872-1918) and Elizabeth Jane Ida Anita Hawke (1884-1918). Edna had four sisters, Gertrude Evelyn (b 1903), Viola (1904-1904), Leota/Lesta (b 1905) and Audry Jane (b 1910).

William and Edna had four children,

Eric H (1936-1988),
Wayne (b 1942),
Audrey and
Morris (d 1962).

William died on 10 November 1989 and Edna died in 1990.

William’s sister, Elsie/Elise married Bernard "Barney" James Petteplace (1908-1970) sometime after 1921.

Barney was born on 9 December 1908 in Greenock, Bruce County to James Johnston Petteplace (1867-1937) and Christina McDonald (1870-1927). Barney had nine siblings,

Clara (b 1893),
Vincent Neil William (1896-1957),
Victor Francis (1898-1975),
Edward (b 1900),
Hannah May (1903-1955),
Hazel Frances (1907-1907) and

Barney was a salesman; he died in 1970 in Teeswater and Elsie died on 13 March 1999 in Teeswater.

Charles Victor Petteplace was born on 1 August 1889 probably in Greenock, Bruce County. He was a labourer in 1921 but nothing further has been found.

Herbert Lauchlin Petteplace was born on 9 July 1891 also probably in Greenock. By 1921 Herbert was a farmer in Greenock. He married Loretta Matilde Willie (1910-1972) and they had one son born in 1935 who died in infancy. Herbert died on 7 May 1946 and is buried in Durham Road Baptist Cemetery, Bruce County.
