JOHN PATRICK LINEHAN

John Patrick Linehan was born on 18 January 1885 in Adjala, Cardwell County, Ontario to Anthony Linehan (1848-1907) and Mary Ann Hislen (1857-1941). Patrick had four siblings, Michael Oswald (1883-1946), Mary Gertrude (Gertie) (1886-1937), Joseph (b 1888) and Elizabeth Bernadetta (Ettie) (b 1890). Patrick grew up on the family farm in Adjala.

From 1913 to 1923, Patrick was living in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; initially working as a contractor with his brothers, Joseph and Oswald and later as a farmer. Verda was living with them and working as a clerk in McGowan’s ladies wear store.

Patrick died in King George Hospital, Surrey, British Columbia on 30 March 1974.
