ALBERT EDWARD ELLIOTT and CAROLINE ELIZABETH (CARRIE) ELLIOTT née FOREMAN

Albert Edward Edwards was born on 11 October 1880 in Oakville, Northumberland, Ontario to Joshua Elliott (1846-1926) & Emma Frances Harry (1862-1891). Albert had one sister, Maud A (b 1884) and three brothers, George W (b 1886), Arthur Francis (b 1888) & Enos Gordon (1890-1973). Albert married Caroline Elizabeth (Carrie) Foreman on 30 October 1901 in Melita, Arthur, Manitoba. Carrie was born on 3 April 1881 in Chesley, Ontario to Ebenezar Peter Foreman (1850-1918) & Marcy Ann Vail (1856-1926). Carrie had three sisters, Ida Estalle (b 1882), Minnie Marion (1890-1984) & Emma Charlotte (1895-1974) and three brothers, Henry Roy (1884-1944) Alfred Ernest (1886-1957) & Charles D Leonard (1893-1962).

By 1911, Albert & Carrie had settled in Saskatoon and Albert was establishing himself as a real estate agent. By 1920, Albert running a general business & property agency and was a Justice of the Peace. The family were living at 816 32nd St W in Saskatoon. Albert appears to have left Saskatoon after 1921. Carrie and the children were still living at 816 32nd St until 1925

It seems that Albert went east to York, Ontario as several family trees on Ancestry.com indicate that he died there on 12 November 1949. It may be that Albert and Carrie split up as we have found no evidence that Carrie followed Albert and several family trees indicate that she died in Saskatoon on 1 April 1969.

This family tree can be found on Ancestry under the title 3rd Ave Elliott Tree.
