PAULINE JOYCE HUMPHRIES

Pauline Joyce Humphries was born in 1918 in Saskatoon to Richard Verdner Humphries (1881-1974) and Ola Wright (1886-1978). Pauline had one brother, John Verdner (1923-1987).

Pauline’s father, Richard Verdner Humphries was born and raised in Lambton, Ontario. He taught school in Humboldt in 1911. The following year Richard married Ola Wright on 6 September in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Both Richard and Ola continues to teach after their marriage.

Richard was teaching at Bedford Road Collegiate in Saskatoon from 1918. The family lived at 1012 Ave B North for many years.

Pauline married Gordon E Tallman and they had three boys, Doug, Jim and Ron.
