THOMAS MELVILLE BALL

Thomas Melville Ball was born on 20 July 1889 in Middlesex, Ontario, Canada, the son of Thomas Ball & Mary Fuller. He had one brother, John and four sisters, Ethel, Emma, Maria & Olive.

The family came west and settled in Winnipeg, Manitoba where Thomas Melville married Gertrude May Seymour on 26 June 1912. Thomas business was lumber and by the age of 28 he was President & Manager of Miners, Ball & Nelson Lumber Co, residing at 414 7th St, Saskatoon. Thomas and Gertrude had one daughter, Dorothy, born in 1918 in Saskatoon.
