RUEL WALDORF LANGS and LELA MAE LANGS née EMERY

Ruel Waldorf Langs was born on 10 March 1887 in Tilsonburg, Norfolk, Ontario to Henry Wilbert (Harry) Langs (1868-1917) and Catherine Annie Clarissa Lefler (1868-1927). His siblings were: Wilbert (Bert) (1888-1982), Budd Doble (Bobbie) (1890-1984), Mabel Viola (b 1891), Henry Basil (1901-1992) and Lillian Ethel (b 1906).

Ruel was raised in St Thomas, Ontario and was married there on 24 December 1908 to Lela Mae Emery. Lela was born on 18 May 1887 in St Thomas to George Emery (1858-1931) and Sarah Jane Whalley (1861-1943). Her siblings were: John Lloyd (1889-1969), Ruth Elizabeth (1892-1966), Miza (b 1895) and George Reginald (1904-1936). Lela was raised in Yarmouth, Elgin, Ontario.

In 1911 Lela and Ruel were living in St Thomas. By 1916 they were living at 537 3rd Ave Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Ruel was employed as an electrician. In 1918 they were at 310 Lansdowne and Ruel was working as a book keeper for J Brandon. On 27 June 1919 a son, Lawrence George, was born in Saskatchewan. He died in Denver, Colorado on 31 October 1995.

The Langs family had moved to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan by 1921.

Lela died on 22 September 1976 in Salem, Marion, Oregon and Ruel on 28 December 1976 in Woodburn, Marion, Oregon.
