JESSIE H LAIRD

Jessie H Laird was born in Scotland circa 1894. She immigrated to Canada in 1912 and was living at the YWCA in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan employed as a maid in 1915.

By 1917 she was living at #2 Farnam Block, 531 11th St, Saskatoon. She remained at that address until 1918 and then lived at #25 Oddfellows Temple, 416 21st St E from 1919 to 1921. She lived at #1 in the Oddfellows Temple from 1922 to 1923. After that time she disappeared from the Henderson Directories. During the time that she lived in Saskatoon she worked at a clerk for F R MacMillan, the department store.
