AUDRA IONE JORDAN

Audra Ione Jordan was born on 25 March 1899 probably in Union, Marshall Co, Indiana, USA to William Edward Jordan (1870-1951) and Ellenor (Ella) Malinda Niccum. Audra had nine siblings, Mamie Lorene (1896-1963), Inez Pauline (1901-1986), Owen Morris (1903-1974), Edward Alfred (1907-1965), Grace (b 1907), Howard "Victor" (1911-1972), Gilbert Travor (b 1914), Frances (b 1915) and Mary (b 1917). The family came to Canada in 1909 and settled on land to the east of Hague about 50 km to the north of Saskatoon.

 Audra married Harold Seasere Laverne Wilson on 17 July 1920 in Creswine, Saskatchewan. Harold was born on 29 September 1896 in Durham, Ontario to Christopher Wilson (1856-1927) and Martha Rowe (1863-1953). Harold had seven siblings, Christopher Allen (1881-1984), William Albert (1883-1959), Mary Letica (1884-1964), Mabel Martha Eveline (1886-1952), Lillian Violet Avadna (1889-1963), Ruby Jane Elenore (1892-1969) and Charles Gerald (1900-1966). Harold was raised on the family farm in Hope, Durham, Ontario.

Harold and Audra farmed on 36-13-28-W2 about 35 km south-west of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Harold was also a mechanic and in 1940 they were living at 241 River St E, Moose Jaw. Harold and Audra had three children.

Harold and Audra retired to British Columbia. Audra died on 18 September in Edgerton, Alberta and Harold died on 23 June 1978 in Surrey, British Columbia.
