FRANK COBURN KILLAM and GEORGIE GILBERT KILLAM née WATT
Frank Coburn Killam was born on 3 February 1880 in Lewis Mountain, New Brunswick to William Killam (b 1839) and Margaret (Maggie) Musgrove (b 1844). His siblings were: Manly Simon (1871-1950), Carleton M (1872-1904), Ingles Hovey (1873-1959), Chesley William (b 1876), Hannah M (b 1877) and George Thomas (b 1884). In 1881 the Killam family was living in Salisbury and in 1891, Studholm. In 1901 Frank was living with some of his siblings in Saint John. All of these places were in New Brunswick.
Frank married Georgie Gilbert Watt on 9 June 1909 in St John, New Brunswick. Georgie was born on 23 March 1886 in St John to Robert Watt and Jeanette (Janet, Jennie) Bain (b 1866). Her known siblings were: Flossie Lenore (b 1899) and Gertrude (Gertie) (b 1889). There was a marriage in the New Brunswick marriage registration index between Robert Watt and Jennie Bain in 1876. If this was the marriage for the couple in this tree, it seems likely that there were more children born before 1886. Jeanette married John Bond on 27 November 1900 in St John and in 1901 she and the three girls were living with him in St John. In 1911 Frank and Georgie were still living in St John.
By 1916 they were living at 414 22nd St E in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Frank was manager of a meat market. A daughter, Doris, was born to them in 1917. In 1918 they were living at 405 3rd Ave N and Frank was manager of National Electric Co. and in 1921 they were living at 309 25th St E. The last record of them in Saskatoon Henderson Directories was 1937 when they were living at 314 5th Ave. Frank was manager of G E T Sherry and Company and Georgie was a cutter for Sask Clothing Depot. Both disappeared from the directories in the same year and as no cemetery records could be located for them in Saskatoon, it appears that they moved away.
This family tree can be found on Ancestry under the title 3rd Ave Killam Tree.
