GEORGE BELL Sr and GEORGE BELL Jr

George Bell was born on 6 August 1844 in Strathroy, Middlesex, Ontario to Jeremiah Bell (1810-1891) and Frances (Fanny) Elliott (1815-1892). George had seven siblings, William (b 1838), Sarah (b 1840), Matilda (b 1849), Eliza Jane (Lisa) (b 1850), Frances Bell (b 1851), Maria (b 1854) and Esther E Bell (1861-1890).

George married Anne "Mary" Stewart on 11 February 1874 in Culross. Mary was born on 22 January 1848 in London, Middlesex, Ontario to John Stewart (1822-1903) and Mary McGair (b 1826). Mary had three siblings, Robert (b 1846), Ruth (b 1851) and Willis (b 1861).

George and Mary had four children,

Frances Gertrude (1876-1948),
Esther (Essie) (b 1879),
George (1881-1970) and
John Edward (1883-1946).

Mary died on 13 July 1917 in Kinloss and George Sr died on 6 December 1922 in Culross.

George Jr married Mary Margaret Morrison on 12 February 1907 in Kinloss, Bruce County. Mary was born on 14 February 1887 to Donald Morrison (1849-1932) and Annie McLeod (1865-1945). Mary had four siblings, Murdock (Murdie) (1884-1905), Rachel (1889-1964), Elsie (1891-1978) and Charles Monroe (1905-1962).

George and Mary had three children,

Elsie Lauretta (Laura) (b 1907),
Clara Annie Alexy (Lexi) (1909-2004) and
Stuart (b 1914).

Mary died on 14 March 1964 in Culross and George died on 1 October 1970 also in Culross.
