ALICE EILEEN DORE

Alice “Eileen” Dore was born on 18 March 1899 in Wingham, Huron County, Ontario to William Gregory Dore (1859-1930) and Alice Edna Campbell (1963-1947). Alice had three siblings, Luella (1888-1891), William Herbert (1890-1924) and Harry Campbell (1892-1953).

By 1921, Eileen was a teacher in Wingham. She married William George Stowers Hillman in about 1925. William was born on 5 February 1895 in Stratford, Perth County to John Hillman (1855-1903) and Caroline Martin (b 1860). William had three siblings, John Berthil (Bert) (b 1879), Mary Matilda (1884-1933) and Edna Bessie (b 1890).

Eileen and William had one son William Kenneth (1927-2007).

No further information has been found for Eileen and William.
