JOHN FARQUAHARSON & Mrs J, née ANNIE JANE McKINNON

John Farquharson was born on 12 July 1860 possibly in Brant Twp, Bruce County to William Farquharson (b 1822) and Ann Grassick (1836-1904). John had two siblings, Ellen (1857-1863) and Annie (1863-1958).

John married Annie Jane McKinnon on 1 October 1895 in Teeswater. Annie was born on 28 May 1865 in Esquesing, Halton, Ontario to William McKinnon (1840-1879) and Isabella Howson (1846-1873). Annie had three sisters, Mary Isabella "Ida" (1870-1944), Christina Letitia (1870-1872) and Mabel Edith (1872-1932) and two half siblings, Robert Alexander (b 1877) and Margaret Louisa (b 1879).

John and Annie had three children,

Annie Isabell (Belle) (1896-1984),
Norman William (1898-1918) and
Charles John (1904-1976).

John was an insurance agent; he died on 9 May 1921. Annie died on 28 February in Toronto.
