MARGARET JANE & SARAH ISABELLA HENDERSON

Margaret Jane Henderson was born on 2 August 1862 and Sarah Isabella Henderson was born on 22 June 1865 on Lot 9, Concession 10 in Culross to James Henderson (1834-1888) and Jane Anne Pringle (1841-1921). The girls had one brother, William J (1869-1943).

James and Ann married in about 1860 and came to Culross shortly afterwards to settle on Lot 9, Concession 10. Here they farmed and raised their family. After James’ death in 1888, the family stayed together on the farm. None of the children married.

Margaret died on 31 July 1935, Sarah died 8 April 1937 and William died on 25 February 1943. They are buried with their parents in Smith’s Cemetery, Culross.
