MOSES FILSINGER

Moses Filsinger was born on 6 December 1863 in Waterloo, Ontario to Frederick Filsinger (1840-1913) and Sarah Musselman (1844-1913). Moses had six siblings, Henry (1861-1934), John (1866-1932), Mary/Marie (b 1870), Elisabeth (b 1872), Jacob (1876-1970) and Anna (1879-1955).

Moses farmed in Carrick, Bruce County with his father. He married Annie Vogt on 1 December 1891 in Mildmay, Bruce County. Annie was born 28 January 1873 in Port Elgin, Perth County to Ferdinand Vogt (1846-1913) and Maria Schmidt (1851-1928). Annie had four siblings, Martha (b 1874), Mary (b 1881), Mathilda (b 1884) and Henry Ferdinand (b 1892).

Moses and Annie had six children,

Fred (1893-1967),
Rose (Maud) Ella (1898-1935),
Lloyd Frederick (1903-1904),
Henry Wesley (1905-1990),
Milton Ferdinand (b 1909) and
Hilda Marie (b 1911).

Annie died on 27 December 1930 in Waterloo, Ontario and Moses died on 22 December 1935 in Carrick.
