FRANCIS PRATT MOORE AND CHARLOTTE ELIZABETH WATSON
Francis Pratt Moore was born on 15 February 1863 in Culross to John James Moore (1828-1913) and Isabella Pratt (1841-1917). Francis had six siblings, John Gifford (1866-1949), Minnie (1870-1949), Lucie E (b 1875), Vinnie (b 1875), Abraham Wesley (1876-1956) and Frances Olive (Fanny) (b 1881).
John James Moore obtained the Crown Deed in the western half (50 acres) of Concession 3 Lot 18, Culross in 18 March 1863. He farmed this land and this is where Francis grew up.
Francis married Charlotte Elizabeth Watson probably in the 1890s in Culross or Teeswater. Charlotte was born on 21 April 1865 probably in Culross to William Watson (1834-1916) and Clarenda Brown (1841-1896). Charlotte had seven siblings, Peter Brown (1862-1862), Charlotte Elizabeth (1865-1945), Sarah Jenett (1867-1903), Amy (b 1871), P Brown (b 1873), Clara (1877-1905) and William Elden (1884-1950).
Francis worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway. He died on 7 April 1944 and Charlotte died on 25 March 1945. They are both buried in the Culross-Teeswater Cemetery.
