THIRD AVENUE METHODIST CHURCH QUILT

A CANADIAN RED CROSS QUILT

Another quilt?

TIMOTHY JOSEPH SHEEHAN and LEAH SHEEHAN née PAGE

Timothy Joseph Sheehan was a dispatcher for Canadian National Railways living at 606 McPherson Ave, Saskatoon between 1915 and 1918. He was married to Leah (Leona) Page and they had three children, Edward Timothy (1906-1974), Rhea (b 1908) and Agnes (b 1914). Amongst their neighbours in McPherson Ave were the Baxter family living at number 612 who also signed the quilt. See Baxter Family.

Timothy and Leah were born around 1887 in the United States and came to Canada in 1909.

It is likely that they returned to the US prior to 1921 as we found no further record of them in Canada.

It is possible that Timothy was born on 24 September 1883 in Michigan and that he died on 24 June 1948 in Bakersfield, Kern County, California but we have been unable to confirm this.

This family tree can be found on Ancestry under the title 3rd Ave Sheehan Tree.
