HARRY ELMER BOYD, EARL PALMER and LAURA BOYD

Harry Elmer Boyd was born on 22 April 1885 in Karrs, Carleton County, Ontario and Earl Palmer Boyd was born on 17 July 1891 in Wolford Tp, Ontario. They were the sons of Samuel Boyd (1859-1927) & Mary Elizabeth Findlay (1961-1930) and they had a sister, Lilly May Boyd (1887-1983).

In 1911-13, Harry was rooming at 135 Smith St, Winnipeg, Manitoba after his parents moved to the US.

Harry enlisted in the military at Regina on 15 May 1918 giving his occupation as merchant & cook. His father was living in the US at this time at Fair Grove, Michigan.

Lillie May married Henry Thomas (Harry) Rombough (b 1882) on 23 June 1909 in Lanark, Ontario and in 1919 they too moved to the US.

Earl married Laura Isabella Sproule (b 23 August 1891 in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada) on 2 June 1915 in Thornton, Simcoe, Ontario. They came to Saskatoon and lived at 208 5th Ave N. Earl worked as assistant cashier for International Harvester Co. In 1919 Earl & Laura moved to Saginaw, Michigan, US, living first at 403 Holmes and then moving to 1503 Holmes where they lived for many years. Their son Worthy T was born on 2 May 1922. Earl worked as bookkeeper and died in Arizona on 14 July 1977.
