SYLVESTER CAMP CHAMBERS ARCHIBALD

Sylvester Camp Chambers Archibald was born on 14 October 1880 in Elmsdale, Hants, Nova Scotia, Canada, the son of Arthur Wallace Arrchibald and Lily Grace McKenzie. He grew up in Nova Scotia before moving west first to Portage La Prairie, Manitoba as a hired hand and then to Strathcona, AB.

In 1912 he came to Saskatoon, living at 211 28th St W employed by the Pure Milk Co as a traveller.

He married Louise Brock (b 15 May 1883 in Nova Scotia) on 15 December 1917. At this time Louise appears to be a nurse on active service having enlisted in 1915.

They had one daughter Pearl. Louise died in Saskatoon on 25 October 1930.

Sylvester died on 18 November 1964. They both buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon.
