FREDERICK GEOFFREY ARCHER

Frederick Geoffrey Archer was born June 1878 in Guisborough, Yorkshire, England, the son of Robert and Annie. He married Elizabeth Ellen Bibby (b 9 September 1877) at St Pauls, Bury, Lancashire, England on 14 November 1900. In 1901 they were living at 60 Moorgate, Bury; he was a publican and they had a live-in servant.

They emigrated to Canada in 1907 when Fred was described as a butcher. They settled in Saskatoon at various address in 27th St W whilst Fred carried on his trade with Subway Meat Market.

They had two sons, Philip and Geoffrey. Fred died on 9 September 1938 in Saskatoon. Subsequently Elizabeth moved to British Columbia where she died on 30 July 1960.
