JAMES PERCY SEAL
James Percy Seal was born in January 1887 in Chorlton, Lancashire, England to William Garrick Seal (1864-1909) and Mary Elizabeth Hughes (b 1963). His siblings were: Florence Maud (b 1890) and William Thomas (b 1892). This family lived in Lancashire, England and James was still single in the 1911 census.
James likely married Florence (Florrie) in 1911 or 1912 and they had a daughter Agnes born in England in 1912. By 1916, the Seal family was living at 238 Ave K North, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. In 1918 they were living at 837 Ave I North and James was a switchman for Saskatchewan Government Phones. By 1921 they had moved to Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan where James was still working with telephones. Agnes was no longer in the household, but another daughter, Edna May (1917), had joined the family. Their third child, Albert E was born in 1921. Voter's lists for Regina, Saskatchewan listed a James and Florrie Seal in 1949, 1957 and 1965, so it is likely that the family moved there.
This family tree can be found on Ancestry under the title 3rd Ave Seal Tree.
