NELLIE MARIE PORTER

Nellie Marie Porter was born on 21 July 1890 in York, Ontario to Robert Porter (1850-1932) and Sarah Jane Reid (1855-196). Her siblings were Elizabeth (1878-1949), Adam H (b 1878), William James (1880-1951), Elizabeth Ann (b 1886), Esther Mary (b 1887), Frank (1888-1916), Roberta Jane (b 1892), Stanley (1897-1964) and Frederick Robert (b 1899). The Porter family lived in Rockwood, Manitoba in 1901 and Stonewall, Manitoba in 1906.

By 1911, Nellie was living at 717 Broadway Ave in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and working as a post office clerk in 1911. From at least 1915 to 1921 she continued to work at the post office and boarded at 615 University Drive. She disappeared from the City Henderson Directories after 1922. Nothing more is known about Nellie.
