William Baptist (1847-1913) and Leah Smith (1845-1906) had seven children, John (b 1869), Margaret Jane (Maggie) (1871-1932), Mary (1874-1944), Alexander (1874-1940), Sophia (1876-1953), William (1878-1954) and George (1880-1966). Prior to 1882, the family were farming near Rice Lake, Northumberland County. William then joined his younger brother, James (1852-1918) and two of his sisters, Phyllis (Mrs John Russell) and Margaret (Mrs Wesley A McEvers) in Culross.
William purchased Lot 17, Concession 12 where he farmed until his death on 12 November 1913.
Mary married Thomas Donaldson (1862-1939) on 15 November 1893 in Culross. Thomas was born on 3 January 1862 in Culross to Robert Donaldson (1833-1912) and Isabella Anderson (1830-1902). Thomas had six siblings, James (1854-1926), David (1857-1925), Alexander (1859-1877), Margaret (1865-1951), John (1867-1934) and Annie (1873-1963).

Thomas Donaldson’s brother James married Eleanor Smith on 25 March 1880 in Culross. Eleanor was born on 25 March 1859 in Culross to William Smith (1830-1904) and Eliza Geddes (1835-1903). Eleanor had eight siblings, Joseph (1857-1858), Ann Jane (1861-1884), Eliza Matilda (1863-1933), Priscilla Rosella (1865-1942), Emma (b 1869), William Kerfoot (1871-1963), Robert Geddes (1871-1953) and Edith Deborah (1873-1902).

Thomas Donaldson’s brother David married Janet (Jennie) Elliott on 14 March 1883 in Culross. Jennie was born on 16 March 1859 to John Scott Elliott (1829-1914) and Mary Ann Scott (1833-1919). Jennie had six siblings, Margaret (1855-1855), Margaret (1857-1889), Martha Jane (1861-1921), Esther 'Etta' (1864-1946), Robert John (1869-1891) and Thomas H (1877-1966).

William (1895-1965).
Robert John Donaldson married Elizabeth L (Lizzie) Campbell on 14 February 1912 in Walkerton. Lizzie was born on 31 May 1881 in Walkerton to Archibald (Archie) Campbell (1846-1933) and Mary Ann Bellbeck (1854-1932). Lizzie had nine siblings, Edwin Alex (b 1878), Florence Lillian (b 1879), Annabella Pearl (1880-1934), Angus Henry (b 1884), Jennie Stewart (b 1885), Sarah May (b 1887), Edith F (b 1889), Archibald Roy (Archie) (b 1891) and Charles (b 1896).
Robert and Lizzie lost one child at birth in 1912 and had a daughter Grace Isabell born on 29 November 1914 in Teeswater, Grace later married Eric Jackson and they had two children, David & Holly.
Jennie’s brother Thomas H married Mary Etta Thompson. Mary was born on 20 September 1877 in Culross to Henry Thompson (1838-1913) and Mary Jane Murphy (1840-1904). Susanna had twelve siblings, Thomas (b 1863), Edith (1864-1932), Annie (1866-1936), Emma (b 1868), Albert Edward (1869-1950), Jane (1872-1898), Frederick Henry (b 1874), Susanna (1876-1942), Herbert Allen (b 1879), Teresa (b 1882), Daisy Adelaide Victoria (1882-1936) and Elizabeth (b 1884).
Thomas and Mary had one son John Henry born on 4 July 1900.

Thomas Donaldson’s brother John married Hester Watson on 27 December 1899 in Culross. Hester was born on 2 April 1873 in Culross to Robert Thomas Watson (1830-1915) and Annie Hume (1837-1875). Hester had ten siblings, David (1856-1923), William Henry (1857-1952), James (1859-1922), Robert (b 1860), Mary E (1862-1925), John Albert (1864-1934), Emma Jane (1866-1947), Sarah (1869-1911), Margaret Rebecca (1871-1962) and Thomas (1875-1911).
John and Hester had on daughter Edna Ann born on 15 November 1900 in Culross. Edna married William Lewis McDonald (1897-1946) on 23 June 1926 in Teeswater. William died on 25 May 1946 and Edna died in 1968.

Thomas Donaldson’s sister Margaret married Henry Murray on 14 June 1899 in Walkerton. Henry was born on 7 March 1863 to Robert Murray (1832-1917) and Esther Kingsley (1842-1928). Henry had ten siblings, James (b 1862), Jane/Jean (1863-1958), Emma (b 1865), Thomas (1867-1928), Esther (1871-1964) Robert (1874-1958), Joseph (1875-1922), Mary Ellen (1878-1931), Janet (1879-1935) and Margaret Starkey (Maggie) (1882-1964).
Margaret and Henry had four children,

Esther (b 1902),
Marjorie (b 1903) and
James Henry (1907-1914).
Henry died on 16 June 1936 in Culross and Margaret died in 1951.
Henry Murray’s sister Jane ‘Jean’ married Andrew Rome on 29 March 1883 in Culross. Andrew was born on 19 February 1859 in Ayr, Ontario to William Rome (1828-1901) and Isabella Mundell (1832-1904). Andrew had six siblings, Wilhelmina "Mina" (1863-1922), Margaret (1866-1934), Janet (b 1869), William (1871-1924), John Mundell (1873-1952) and Elizabeth (1875-1891).
Jean and Andrew had eight children,

Andrew was a school teacher in the Culross area.
William Rome was born on 29 May 1871 in Culross. He married Agnes “Jane” Melvin on 30 March 1898 in Culross. Jane was born on 23 August 1879 in Culross to Thomas Melvin (1844-1927) and Eliza Ford (1848-1935). Jane had six siblings, James Wilfred (1877-1965), William John (1881-1962), David Ford (1884-1971) Thirza Maria (1886-1988), Thomas "Nixon" (1888-1969) and Eliza Matilda (1890-1967).
William and Jane had three children,
Eliza Isabella (b 1899),
William "Melvin" (b 1903) and
James "Malcolm" (b 1905).
William Rome died on 22 Oct 1924 in Teeswater and Jane died on 27 April 1959 also in Teeswater.
Thomas “Nixon” Melvin was born on 5 July 1888 in Culross. He married Mary Constance Smith (1894-1976) on 30 June 1920. They had one son Thomas J (1922-1998). Nixon died on 26 March 1969 in Teeswater.
Thomas Melvin (1844-1927) was born to john Melvin ( 1801-1893) and Jane Reid (1813-1904). Thomas had seven siblings, including William Henry (1842-1911). William married Esther E Bell (1861-1890) on 3 January 1883 in Culross. Esther was born on 2 May 1861 to Jeremiah Bell (1810-1891) and Frances (Fanny) Farlow Elliott (1815-1892). Gordon married Lillie May Baker on 29 January 1913 in Teeswater. Lille was born on 30 November 1887 in Teeswater to George “Henry” Baker (1861-1927) and Julia Edgar (1861-1937).
Gordon and Lille had one son, William Henry (Harry). Harry was born on 19 February 1916 and died on 23 February 1937 in Teeswater.
Henry Murray’s brother Robert married Lottie Jane McDonald (1883-1966).
Robert and Lottie had five children,

Henry Murray’s brother Joseph was born on 4 October 1875 in Culross. Joseph married Sarah Ann Chilton (1879-1969) on 30 December 1896.
Margaret Jane (Maggie) Baptist was born on 24 February 1871 in Hamilton. She married Thomas Harborn Standish on 22 May 1895. Thomas was born on 16 October 1855 in Erin, Wellington County to Francis Standish (1819-1989) and Clarinda Reid (1827-1900).

Maggie and Thomas had three children,
May Leah (1895-1941),
Clara "Pauline" (1898-1947) and
Margaret Jane (1911-1992).
May married George Joseph Adams (1889-1943). May died in 1941.
Pauline died on 21 May 1947.
Margaret married Eldon Enoch Erb (1908-1972) in about 1936. Margaret and Eldon had two sons, Melvin Eldon (1937-2008) and Douglas Ronald (1938-2005).
William Baptist was born on 20 February 1878. He married Mary Elizabeth Russel on 18 September 1907 in Bruce Township. Mary was born on 4 August 1885 in Bruce to William Russell (1844-1915) and Elizabeth McGregor (1848-1818). Mary had three siblings, Andrew (1871-1954), Margaret (Maggie) (1873-1954) and Jane (Jennie) (1880-1965).
William and Mary had a son, William “Russell” born on 18 July 1908 and another child born in 1923 who died at birth.
Russell married Sarah “Eileen” Fisk (1908-1983). Russell and Eileen had one son, Willard James (1934-1958). Russell died on 29 January 1975 in Teeswater.
George Baptist was born on 15 November 1880. He married Dorothy Ann Haigh (1899-1914) on 1 January 1913 and later Jane (Jennie) Russell (1880-1965) on 28 April 1920. Jennie Russell was Mary Elizabeth Russell’s sister. George died 7 September 1966 in Culross.
